Jonathan (SleepTrain456) General I looked on the Unofficial EMD Website, and it turns out EMDX 22 (serial number 35055) and 23 (serial number 35056) were built for EMD in May 1969 as part of a larger fleet of EMD-owned GP40s numbered 11 to 26. EMDX 22 became PC 3270 in around 1970, then CR 3270 in 1976, and currently operates as MEC 354. As for EMDX 23, it became PC 3271, then CR 3271, before finally being acquired by MEC as 355. I am not sure where it is now, but judging by the Wikipedia page not mentioning it on the active roster, I would assume it is retired. 6/5/2021 7:06:14 PM
